Jamie Carragher was more than impressed with James Maddison for his output for Leicester City when they played out a 1-1 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in what was their second league game of the season.
Chelsea took the lead through Mason Mount who pounced on an error from Super Eagles midfielder Wilfried Ndidi in the first half to give the home side an advantage which was preserved till the halftime interval.
The aforementioned Ndidi atoned for his error in the second half after he scored a bullet header off the assist from James Maddison’s corner kick.
James Maddison then went on to waste a glorious opportunity to give Leicester City a priceless win at the home of Chelsea after he blazed over the bar from close range.
The young English midfielder has been a key player for the Foxes since joining them from Norwich City last summer.
