Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has been told that he’s not the automatic first choice with the Spanish national team.
This is according to new manager Roberto Moreno who told Cadena SER that he’s ready to give the three goalkeepers in his squad a fair chance to compete.
The three goalkeepers in his Spanish team are Chelsea star Kepa Arrizabalaga, the aforementioned De Gea and AS Roma shot-stopper Pau Lopez.
Chelsea shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga started ahead of David De Gea for the last three Spanish national team games.
David De Gea has been the first choice goalkeeper with Spain since the end of the Vicente Del Bosque era as the national team manager until he was recently usurped by Kepa Arrizabalaga.
