Newly crowned European Super Cup holders Liverpool are facing a goalkeeper crisis ahead of their Premier League clash with Southampton on Saturday afternoon according to the publication from the stables of UK Mirror.
Liverpool could be without their first two goalkeepers for the game at the home of Southampton.
Brazilian international shot stopper Alisson Becker is the first choice at Liverpool but he won’t feature again this month after sustaining an injury during the Premier League opener against newly promoted outfit Norwich City eight days ago.
The injury to Alisson was the only downside for Liverpool who thrashed Norwich City 4-1 at home to kick-start the new Premier League season.

His backup, Adrian is also suffering from injury ahead of the Southampton game.
The Spanish goalkeeper was signed on a free transfer this summer as the second choice and a direct replacement for Simon Mignolet who left the club for Belgian top flight outfit Club Brugge earlier this month.
Adrian came on as a substitute for the injured Alisson during the Norwich City game before playing in the European Super Cup against Chelsea on Wednesday night.
He was the hero for Liverpool during the penalty shootout which decided the game.
Adrian sustained an ankle injury after the game as a result of an overzealous fan and he had to receive treatment on the plane back from Istanbul, Turkey to England for three hours.
