Premier League legend Michael Owen has predicted the upcoming league meeting between Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux at the weekend.

In a chat with BetVictor, Michael Owen talked about his former club as they travel to the Midlands to take on Wolves.

According to the former Liverpool, Manchester United and Stoke City striker, the Wolves game will test the top-four credentials of the Red Devils after their emphatic win over Chelsea in their opening game of the season.

Manchester United laid down a big marker after they trashed Chelsea 4-0 in their Premier League opener.

Marcus Rashford scored two goals during the game in addition to further strikes from Anthony Martial and substitute Daniel James who scored on his competitive debut for Manchester United.

On the game, On Sunday Michael Owen backed Wolves not to lose the game against Manchester United.

The ex-England international star believes that the home team will get at least a draw from the game.

Wolves enjoyed an unbeaten run against Manchester United over the three games played last season.

Manchester United hosted Wolves in their first league game of the season which ended 1-1 before Wolves beat the Red Devils 2-1 in the FA Cup sixth round.

The second league game of the season at Wolves ended in a 2-1 win over Manchester United.
