Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson was full of praise for shot stopper Adrian after he played a major role in the UEFA Super Cup win over Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Henderson spoke to BT Sports after the game which ended in a 5-4 win over Chelsea during penalty shootout.
Liverpool and Chelsea played out a 2-2 draw at the end of regulation time and extra time.
According to the Reds skipper, Adrian was the hero for the team after he saved a penalty during the shootout.
Adrian was a free agent this summer after he was released by fellow Premier League outfit West Ham United.

The Spanish shot stopper signed for Liverpool earlier this month as a direct replacement for Simon Mignolet who left the club for Club Brugge FC of Belgium.
Adrian saved a penalty from Chelsea substitute Tammy Abraham during the shootout to give Liverpool the Spanish Super Cup via a 5-4 victory.
Chelsea and Liverpool played out a 2-2 draw at the end of regulation time and extra time.
The Blues took the lead in the first half of regulation time through Olivier Giroud before Liverpool equalised after the halftime interval through Sadio Mane to force extra time.
Mane edged Liverpool ahead before Jorginho equalised from the penalty spot thus leading to shootout to determine the Super Cup winners.
