Former Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has been handed the number nine jersey at Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan.
The squad number confirmation happened earlier on Friday via the official Twitter handle of the Italians.
The number nine jersey was previously worn by ex-Inter Milan talisman Mauro Icardi who has fallen out with the club bosses at the San Siro.
Inter Milan legends like Hernan Crespo, Ronaldo and Samuel Eto’o had previously worn the jersey number.
Belgian international Lukaku would be hoping to emulate their various achievements at Inter Milan following his big-money transfer from Manchester United.
