Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku is reportedly the subject of interest of some of the major Italian Serie A clubs and the Red Devils will have to replace him if he completes his transfer away from the club.

According to ESPN, Manchester United might not sign a replacement for Lukaku if he leaves the club this summer.

Young Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood has been in very good form for the club during preseason and he could be the man to replace Romelu Lukaku.

Manchester United have already been linked with the Juventus attacking duo of Paolo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic but a deal for either of the two players might not be possible before the end of the Premier League transfer window on Thursday.

Manchester United have already called off the transfer for Dybala, while a move for Mandzukic is still a possibility.

Inter Milan and Juventus are the Italian clubs keen to sign Lukaku but the Red Devils have slammed a £79m asking price on the Belgian international striker.

Italian Serie A giants Juventus will need to produce the funds required to sign Romelu Lukaku after their offer of a swap deal involving Paolo Dybala hit the rocks.
