Leicester City defender Harry Maguire has been warned ahead of his world-record transfer to three-time European champions Manchester United.

Maguire was indirectly warned by Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who revealed that he’s happy with the crop of players at his disposal and that new players won’t walk straight into his team.

Solskjaer was speaking during an interview with the official website of Manchester United and ahead of the International Champions Cup (ICC) clash with Italian Serie A giants AC Milan on Saturday.

Harry Maguire is set for his medical at Manchester United after the club agreed a world-record fee of £80m with Leicester City for him.

The 26-year-old is expected to complete his transfer to Old Trafford at the start of next week after he has done his medical this weekend.

The England international star will be the most expensive defender in the history of world football once he has completed his move to Manchester United.

Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk is the current recipient on the back of his £75m transfer to the club.

The Dutchman moved from Southampton to Liverpool at the start of last year and his signing has been an inspired one for the European champions.
