Seven-time European champions AC Milan won’t secure a permanent move for Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko on the back of his loan spell at the club last season.
This is according to the publication from the Independent which revealed that the player’s loan move won’t be converted to a permanent transfer.
Tiemoue Bakayoko has returned to Chelsea as a result of that.
The French international midfielder was part of the Chelsea squad to the preseason tour of Dublin.
He spent the whole of last season on loan at the San Siro having joined them last summer.
Bakayoko impressed a great deal while he was on loan at AC Milan but his time at the club was tainted by an altercation towards the end of last season.
The player left Chelsea for AC Milan on loan after an unsuccessful start to his football career at Stamford Bridge.
Earlier in 2017, Tiemoue Bakayoko joined Chelsea in a €40m deal from French Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco while former manager Antonio Conte was still at the club.
He was part of the AS Monaco team that reached the Champions League semifinals during the 2016/17 season.
Tiemoue Bakayoko was one of the key players for AS Monaco during that season.

His official announcement as an AC Milan player was made earlier on Thursday.

The Portuguese forward was linked with a move to Arsenal at the start of the current transfer window.
Rafael Leao had a very good season for Lille in his one and only season at the club whom he joined after his contract at Sporting Lisbon was canceled.
The player canceled his Sporting Lisbon contract last summer before joining Lille where he scored eight league goals to help his team to second spot at the end of the last French Ligue 1 season.
He formed a potent strike partnership with Nicolas Pepe who recently joined the Gunners for a club-record fee of £72m.

Lille have moved to plug some of the attacking gap left by the duo of Leao and Pepe with the signing of Victor Osimhen from Sporting Charleroi FC of Belgium.

AC Milan Join Man Utd In Race To Sign Defender
Italian Serie A side AC Milan have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Juventus defender Merih Demiral this summer.
According to popular Italian media outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri want to sign the young centre back during this transfer window.
It was revealed that Milan have already opened talks with Juventus and the player over a move to the San Siro.
Merih Demiral came to the Italian Serie A with Sassuolo during the winter transfer window in January before the 21-year-old joined Italian champions Juventus this summer.
The Old Lady paid €18m for him and they have gone ahead to reinforce their squad in the same position with the signing of Matthijs De Ligt from Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam.

Manchester United have linked with the player but they will have to meet up with the €35m valuation from his club Diane.
