Newly signed Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix has been unveiled at the new Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid.

The young Portuguese international star was unveiled as the new signing at Atletico Madrid on Monday afternoon.

Joao Felix was recently announced as the club-record signing after Atletico Madrid paid €126m to secure his signing from Portuguese Super League giants Benfica.

The transfer makes the Portuguese teen sensation the fourth most expensive player in the history of world football behind the trio of Philippe Coutinho (Barcelona and Brazil), Kylian Mbappe (Paris Saint Germain and France) and Neymar (Paris Saint Germain and Brazil).

Several clubs including Manchester United were linked with Joao Felix before Atletico Madrid won the race to sign him.

Other clubs like PSG, Liverpool, Juventus, Manchester City and Real Madrid were all linked with the teenage forward.

Joao Felix came through the ranks at Benfica before making his debut for the first team.

The 19-year-old made his breakthrough season in the colours of Benfica in the last campaign.

His best game for Benfica came in the first leg of the Europa League quarterfinals against German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.

Joao Felix scored a treble in a 4-2 win over the Germans.
