Ajax Amsterdam skipper Matthijs De Ligt has reportedly agreed on a deal with Italian Serie A champions Juventus.
His agent Mino Raiola confirmed that the player has agreed to personal terms with the Italians in an interview with De Telegraaf.
The Italian Super Agent went on to say that the final step is for the two clubs (Ajax Amsterdam and Juventus) to agree on a transfer fee for Matthijs De Ligt.
He has agreed on an £8m deal with Juventus on a yearly basis for five years.
The 19-year-old has been linked with several clubs this summer including Premier League giants Manchester United.
Apart from the Red Devils, Matthijs De Ligt has been touted as a possible transfer addition for other major European clubs like Liverpool, Barcelona Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Manchester City.
Matthijs De Ligt has been one of the most exciting players on the European football scene in the last one year.
The 19-year-old is one of the best young players in the world.
De Ligt is the youngest captain in the history of Ajax Amsterdam after he was made the club’s last summer.
He led the Dutch Eredivisie giants to the Champions League semifinals before Ajax Amsterdam were eliminated by North London giants Tottenham Hotspur.
De Ligt and Ajax also won two major trophies.
