There were doubts over his availability for the preseason tour due to the exit rumours surrounding him.
The 26-year-old was part of the Manchester United squad for the pre-season tour to Australia as the Red Devils stepped up preparation for the new season billed for the second week of August.

That interview further fuelled the Manchester United exit rumours involving him.
While he was on the Adidas tour of Tokyo in Japan, Pogba confirmed that he wants a new challenge after spending three years in his second spell at Manchester United.
Real Madrid and Juventus are the clubs keen to sign him this summer.
The latest bid for him came from immediate past European champions Real Madrid who offered €75m plus either Isco or Gareth Bale for the Frenchman.
Paul Pogba was the leading goalscorer for Manchester United last season with 16 goals in all competitions and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to keep him at the club beyond this summer.
