Premier League giants Manchester United are on the verge of missing out on midfield transfer target Youri Tielemans this summer.
The Red Devils are almost certain to miss out on Tielemans with the Belgian international player penciled in for a medical at former Premier League champions Leicester City ahead of a £40m move to the King Power Stadium.
Youri Tielemans is an AS Monaco player but the Foxes are interested in a permanent move for him after a successful loan spell last season.
The AS Monaco midfielder spent the second half of last season on loan at Leicester City and he impressed a great deal.

Manchester United were one of the clubs in the running for the player until AS Monaco reached an agreement with Leicester City for him.
The news of his Leicester medical on Saturday was confirmed by Sky Sports.
With Youri Tielemans slipping out of their hands, Manchester United will have to switch their attention to the other midfield targets like Bruno Fernandes of Sporting Lisbon and Sean Longstaff of Newcastle United.
Longstaff and Fernandes are within the reach of Manchester United, unlike the aforementioned Tielemans.
For now, Manchester United are light in the middle of the park after the free transfer exit of Ander Herrera to French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
