Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi is reportedly open to a move to Premier League giants Manchester United this summer.

According to the report from 90min.com, Argentine international attacker Mauro Icardi won’t mind leaving International Milan to join Manchester United after compatriot Carlos Tevez thrived well during his time at Old Trafford.

Carlos Tevez played with distinction for three Premier League clubs namely West Ham United, Manchester United and Manchester City.

Mauro Icardi is surplus to requirements at Inter Milan in the wake of the appointment of Antonio Conte as the new manager last month.

Conte wants Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku as his top striker for next season and Inter Milan might need to sell Icardi to fund the transfer.

Apart from Manchester United, Icardi has also been linked with the Italian Serie A duo of Napoli and Juventus.

Previous reports had claimed that Manchester United turned down the opportunity of a swap deal with Icardi with Romelu Lukaku going through another way.

Lukaku is keen to leave Manchester United this summer after spending two years at the Theatre of Dreams.

The 26-year-old joined Manchester United from fellow Premier League side Everton in a deal reported to be around £75m.
