Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe has signed a new contract at the club on the back of his successful loan spell at Aston Villa.
The 21-year-old centre back has put pen to paper on a three-year contract until the end of the 2021/22 season with the option of an additional year.
Axel Tuanzebe is a utility player that could also function well as a left-back or as a right-back.
The Congo-born player was part of the Aston Villa squad that secured promotion to the Premier League this summer after a two-year absence.
The former European champions sealed a place in the Premier League for the new season via the playoffs after a fifth-placed finish at the end of the regular season.
