Premier League giants Manchester United have moved to try and secure the long-term future of one of their best players at the club.
Spanish international shot stopper David De Gea is the undisputed first choice goalkeeper at Manchester United but he could leave the club this summer.
De Gea has one year left on his current Manchester United deal which expires next summer.
The 28-year-old might be sold this summer if he fails to agree to a new contract at the Theatre of Dreams or Manchester United will be at the risk of letting him leave the club for nothing.
Contract talks between Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Juventus target and the senior club officials didn’t yield any result till date.

Manchester United had earlier offered him £350,000 on a weekly basis but the said offer was turned down.
He’s said to want double of his £240,000 weekly wages meaning that the Spaniard wants £480,000 weekly before he can agree to a new deal.
According to Sky Sports, Manchester United have made an improved offer on the initial offer of £350,000 per week.
David De Gea joined Manchester United in 2011 in a deal reported to be around £18m.
He has been the first choice goalkeeper at Manchester United since then.
