Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes has agreed on personal terms with Premier League giants Manchester United according to the latest reports from the Italian media.

The Portuguese international midfielder has been the subject of interest from the biggest clubs on the European football scene after a stellar season with his club.

According to the specific publication from the stables of popular Italian transfer news portal La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 24-year-old has agreed a deal with the Red Devils but the clubs are yet to reach an agreement for his transfer.

It was revealed that Sporting Lisbon value the midfielder for £50m.

Bruno Fernandes was recently part of the Portugal squad that won the first UEFA Nations League.

Portugal emerged champions after a 1-0 win over the Netherlands with Valencia winger Goncalo Guedes getting the only goal of the game.

Bruno Fernandes was one of the best players for Portugal in that final clash with three-time World Cup finalists Netherlands.

The Sporting Lisbon star broke the midfield goalscoring record in the last campaign after he netted 32 goals in all competitions to surpass the previous record from Chelsea legend Frank Lampard.

The former Chelsea midfielder scored 27 goals during the 2009/10 season while Carlo Ancelotti was the Blues boss.
