Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid are reportedly plotting a move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen ahead of the new season billed to start in two months.
This is according to Spanish radio BernebeuDigital which claimed that Real Madrid are preparing to make their first offer for Christian Eriksen.
It was revealed that Real Madrid will make a £71m (€80m) bid for the Danish international star as the Spaniards try to sign a new midfielder this summer.
Real Madrid have already splashed almost £300m on five talents including former Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

Others are Eder Militao, Rodrygo Goes, Luka Jovic and Ferland Mendy.
Christian Eriksen has also been linked with a move to Premier League giants Manchester United as well as the Italian Serie A duo of Juventus and Inter Milan.
It remains to be seen whether Spurs will accept the proposed first bid for their midfielder.
Eriksen has one year left on his current deal with Spurs and the North Londoners will have to decide on whether to sell him this summer or risk losing him for nothing next summer.
The Danish player is not interested in a new deal as he has already established his desire for a new challenge elsewhere.
The Times revealed that Christian Eriksen and his family have already started house-hunting in Madrid to further fuel transfer rumours of a move to Madrid.
