Premier League giants Manchester United have been handed a big transfer boost in their bid to sign Newcastle United midfielder Sean Longstaff this summer.
Sean Longstaff is one of the top midfield targets for Manchester United this summer.
In an earlier interview, the player dismissed the transfer rumors linking him with a move to the Theatre of Dreams before adding that he was flattered by the Manchester United transfer rumors.
The midfielder has now made a remarkable U-turn on those Manchester United transfer reports.
According to the Daily Star, the young Newcastle United midfielder is seriously considering his future at the Northeast club in the wake of the exit of Rafael Benitez.

The 21-year-old has had a change of heart following the news that Rafael Benitez will step down as the Newcastle United manager when his contract expires this month.
Spanish tactician Benitez gave Sean Longstaff his big break last season and he took the opportunity with both hands until he sustained a serious knee injury.
He made nine appearances for Newcastle United in the Premier League scoring one goal.
Sean Longstaff is rated at around £25m and the Red Devils are increasingly excited that they can sign him this summer as club manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer targets young talents.
