Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain won’t return to Premier League giants Chelsea this summer on the back of his loan spell at the club according to the report from the stables of Football London.
It was revealed that Chelsea won’t turn his loan deal into a permanent transfer this summer.
Gonzalo Higuain joined Chelsea on a short-term loan during the winter transfer window in January.
He had the option to make the move permanent for £36m but the Blues have decided not to take up that option.
The Argentine international star scored seven goals for Chelsea in 23 appearances.
He was also part of the Chelsea squad that won the Europa League title by beating London rivals Arsenal 4-1 in their final meeting at the end of last month.
Gonzalo Higuain was not as lucky as another loanee Mateo Kovacic who will join Chelsea on the back of his loan spell at Stamford Bridge.
The Croatian World Cup star signed for Chelsea on a season-long loan deal last summer as part of the Thibaut Courtois transfer to Real Madrid.
Mateo Kovacic will join Chelsea this summer for a fee believed to be around €50m.
Kovacic provided two assists for the Blues in over 50 games in the colours of Chelsea last season.
