Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam are said to be holding out for a bigger fee for their skipper who’s expected to leave the club this summer.
Ajax Amsterdam skipper Matthijs De Ligt is attracting serious interest from the best of the best clubs on the European football scene.
According to Sky Italy, Ajax Amsterdam want at least £67m for Matthijs De Ligt before they can sanction his sale.
It was also revealed that Ajax have not reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of the club skipper which is an opposite of earlier reports that revealed that the Italians have agreed to a multi-million pounds deal to sign him.

Apart from Juventus, other major European clubs like Manchester United, Manchester City, Barcelona and Liverpool are also keen on a deal for the player.
Matthijs De Ligt became the youngest captain in the history of an illustrious club like Ajax Amsterdam who have won the European title on four occasions.
He became the Ajax Amsterdam skipper at the age of 18 last year.
The 19-year-old then went on to lead Ajax Amsterdam to two major trophies and the Champions League semifinals at the end of last season.
He scored seven goals and also added four assists in 55 games for Ajax Amsterdam in all competitions.
