Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid have identified a midfield alternative for top target Paul Pogba according to the latest reports coming out of the media in Spain.
Manchester United midfielder Pogba is the top midfield target for Real Madrid this summer as the former European champions continue to revamp their playing squad after a disappointing campaign.
According to trusted Spanish media portal Marca, Real Madrid have lined up an alternative for Paul Pogba in the event that they miss out on him.
Real Madrid are not the only club interested in the French World Cup winner.

Italian Serie A champions Juventus are also plotting a possible return to the club for Pogba who left the Italian three years ago for Manchester United in a then world-record transfer fee of £89m.
Pogba still has two years left on his contract at Manchester United with the option of a third year.
Ajax Amsterdam midfielder Donny Van Der Beek could be a quality option for Real Madrid if they miss out on Paul Pogba.
Van Der Beek was part of the Ajax Amsterdam side that won two major trophies last season and also reached the last four of the Champions League before they were beaten by North London club Tottenham Hotspur.
