Charlton Athletic manager Lee Bowyer has slammed star midfielder Joe Aribo over his transfer decision.
Joe Aribo was seriously linked with the Premier League clubs like Brighton and Hove Albion and Arsenal before the Charlton Athletic midfielder snubbed both teams to opt for Scottish Premiership giants Rangers.
The Charlton Athletic star will join Rangers later this summer in a deal reported to be around £300,000.
His manager Lee Bowyer was left disappointed with the player’s choice as he wondered why the midfielder will opt for the Scottish Premiership ahead of the more illustrious Premier League.

In his latest interview monitored by the Daily Record, Lee Bowyer was frank in his assessment of his next destination.
According to him, Rangers are not the proper team for Joe Aribo to develop as a player.
Lee Bowyer also pointed out his disappointment at the player on his choice of a new club having worked to ensure that the midfielder reached his current level.
Lee Bowyer wanted him to go to a club where he can test himself rather than Rangers with little or no attraction other than Steven Gerrard.
The former Liverpool midfielder has been the Rangers manager since he was appointed at the start of last season.
He led Rangers to second spot behind rivals Celtic last season.
