Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno will join Spanish La Liga club Villarreal at the end of his Reds contract this summer.
This is according to the publication from the Daily Mail which claimed that the defender will return to Spain this summer, but he won’t get his dream return to boyhood club Sevilla as new manager Julen Lopetegui prefers the option of getting Reguilon from former club Real Madrid.
Alberto Moreno came through the ranks at Spanish La Liga club Sevilla and went on to win the Europa League title in 2014 under the guidance of current Arsenal manager Unai Emery.
He joined Liverpool shortly after the Europa League triumph in 2014 in a £12m deal and the Spaniard has been at Anfield for five years.

Earlier this month, Liverpool confirmed that both Alberto Moreno and Daniel Sturridge will leave the club this summer at the end of their respective contracts.
The two players were unused substitutes as Liverpool saw off Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur to win the Champions League earlier this month.
Alberto Moreno will join Santi Cazorla at Villarreal after his compatriot left Arsenal last summer to sign for the Yellow Submarines.
Santi Cazorla joined Villarreal on a free transfer after leaving Arsenal last summer.
