Man Utd Transfer Plans Hampered By Lack Of Interest In Star Player

Manchester United transfer plans have reportedly been hampered by the lack of interest from other clubs in their quest to let Alexis Sanchez leave the club this summer.

This is according to the publication from the stables of the Daily Express which claimed that the Red Devils’ transfer plans have been adversely affected by their inability to find a suitor for Chilean international attacker Alexis Sanchez.

Manchester United are ready to cut their losses on Alexis Sanchez after 18 months at the Theatre of Dreams.

Alexis Sanchez has been an expensive flop at Manchester United since he joined them from Arsenal in a swap deal that saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan move in the other direction.

Manchester United have found it hard to move Alexis Sanchez on to another club because of his outrageous weekly wages.

The Chilean forward earns around £500,000 on a weekly basis at Manchester United.

Alexis Sanchez scored just two goals for Manchester United during the just concluded season.

He netted his first goal of the season in a league game at home to Newcastle United which Manchester United won 3-2 with Alexis Sanchez coming off the bench to score his winning goal.

Manchester United came from two goals down to win the game.

The player scored his second and final goal of the game in the FA Cup clash with former club Arsenal.

He scored a goal in a 3-1 win over Arsenal in the FA Cup fourth round clash at the Emirates Stadium.
