1996 Champions League winners Juventus are expected to make an offer for Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier as they try to sign him as a replacement for Manchester City-bound Joao Cancelo.

Portuguese international right-back Cancelo is expected to leave Juventus in the coming days just after one season with the Old Lady.

The Juventus defender is expected to sign for Premier League champions Manchester City in the coming days and Spurs right-back Kieran Trippier has been identified as the man to replace the former Valencia player.

Long-term Manchester United target Trippier has established himself as the undisputed first choice right-back for Tottenham Hotspur in recent seasons but the club is open to his sale this summer.

It was also revealed via The Telegraph that Spurs will demand a sum of £25m for him.

Kieran Trippier was not in the best of forms for Tottenham Hotspur last season but new Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri is certain that the former Burnley player will be a good fit for the Italian Serie A.

He was recently left out of the England squad for the recently concluded UEFA Nations League finals.

Juventus Starting XI (4-4-1-1): Wojciech Szczesny; Kieran Trippier, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, Alex Sandro; Aaron Ramsey, Emre Can, Douglas Costa, Federico Bernardeschi; Paolo Dybala; Cristiano Ronaldo.
