Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly stepped up their interest in young Norwich City defender Max Aarons.
This is according to the publication from Sky Sports which claimed that the Red Devils have turned their attention to the 19-year-old after they were frustrated in their chase for Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Manchester United submitted two different bids for Wan-Bissaka but Crystal Palace are holding out for at least £50m excluding add-ons.
Their first bid was an initial amount of £35m plus £5m in add-ons which the Eagles swiftly turned down before Manchester United returned with the same initial amount of £35m plus £15m in add-ons.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka was one of the best right-backs in the Premier League last season and it’s more surprising that Manchester United want to sign him as a direct replacement for former club skipper Antonio Valencia.
Ecuadorian international Valencia has left Manchester United after his contract expired this summer.
Max Aarons is the go-to man for Manchester United in place of Aaron Wan-Bissaka if Crystal Palace continue to frustrate them in negotiations for him.
Norwich City star Aarons won the PFA Young Player of the Year during last season’s English Championship as he helped the Canaries secure a spot in the Premier League for next season.
