Europa League finalists Arsenal are eyeing a move for highly rated Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney during this summer’s transfer window according to the publication from the stables of the Daily Mail.
It was revealed that Arsenal manager Unai Emery has identified the player as his top left-back target this summer.
The Arsenal boss wants a new left-back this summer but he might need to sell some players due to the Gunners’ lack of financial strength.
The North Londoners have £45m to spend on players excluding player sales and they are keen to strengthen the first team in four major areas namely wing forward, left-back, midfield and central defence.
Arsenal first choice left-backs Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac were unable to convince Unai Emery about being the long-term solution for the Gunners in that position.
Kieran Tierney is a Scotland international who has proven to be a key player for Celtic in recent years.
The 22-year-old Scottish defender is a key part of the Celtic team that has won three trophies in each of the last three seasons including the last campaign.
Celtic won the Scottish Premiership title, Scottish League Cup title as well as the Scottish Cup title under the guidance of Neil Lennon who has been offered the managerial role permanently for the next one year.
Arsenal Doctor Lands In Brazil For Player Medical
Arsenal are reportedly closing in on a move for Gremio forward Everton Soares this summer.
This is according to The Sun which revealed that an Arsenal doctor has landed in Brazil for the player’s medical.
It was revealed that the Gunners have agreed to a £36m for the young Brazilian attacker.
Arsenal have made an initial bid of £25m plus £11m in add-ons for the player.
Everton Soares is seen as a cheaper option by Arsenal in comparison with Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha who has an asking price of £80m.
Arsenal had earlier made a £40m for Zaha which was swiftly rejected by their fellow Premier League club.

Arsenal Retain Interest In Everton Soares For This Reason
North London giants Arsenal retain interest in Gremio forward Everton Soares amidst their pursuit of Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.
According to Sky Sports News, the Gunners have made Everton Soares their first alternative in the event that they are unable to sign Wilfried Zaha this summer.
Ivorian national team player Zaha is the top priority for Arsenal manager Unai Emery in his quest to sign a winger this summer.
Arsenal have made their intentions known on Wilfried Zaha but their first offer of £40m was turned down at the start of this month with Crystal Palace holding out for more money.

The Gunners are expected to sign the player between now and the start of the season in three weeks time.

According to English journalist James Benge of Football London, the announcement of Saint Etienne defender William Saliba is imminent after the Gunners won the race to sign him ahead of North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
William Saliba opted for Arsenal ahead of Tottenham Hotspur after both clubs made the same offer for him.
The Gunners had earlier made a €30m bid for the player before Spurs matched the bid with a better payment and bonus arrangement in the quest to hijack the deal.

The 18-year-old will spend the 2019/20 season on loan at Saint Etienne shortly after signing a five-year deal with the Gunners.
He’s expected to be the second signing of the summer at Arsenal after fellow teenager Gabriel Martinelli.
€60m Asking Price Slammed On Arsenal Target Malcom
North London giants Arsenal have been dealt a major transfer blow in their pursuit of Barcelona winger Malcom after his club slammed an outrageous transfer fee on him.
The Gunners are one of many clubs interested in the young Brazilian player but the transfer fee quoted by Barcelona will almost certainly scare them away.
According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Barcelona won’t let Malcom leave the club permanently unless they receive €60m for him which will represent a profit of €19m.
Malcom became a Barcelona player last summer after the Catalan giants snapped him up from under the noses of Italian Serie A club AS Roma.
The Italian capital club had agreed on a deal with his then club, Bordeaux before Barcelona swooped in on him.
The 21-year-old has spent one year at Barcelona but he has not been able to nail down a spot in the first XI.
Malcom has been on the fringes of the first team at Barcelona and the recent arrival of Antoine Griezmann has pushed him further down the attacking order at the Nou Camp.
Apart from Arsenal, the Brazilian player has also been linked with a move to other Premier League sides like Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.
Arsenal Target Demands Exit
Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has told the club that he wants to leave the club this summer.
This is according to Sky Sports which claimed that the Eagles player wants to leave Selhurst Park when he returns from holiday.
Wilfried Zaha is presently on holiday after the rigors of a long and hard season for Crystal Palace.
The 26-year-old also represented the Ivorian national team this summer.
He was a key player for Ivory Coast who crashed out at the quarterfinal stage of the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Egypt.
Zaha wants to leave Crystal Palace this summer and he has already told senior club officials about his intentions.
His first choice is Arsenal whom he supported as a kid but the player still wants to move if he doesn’t get his dream transfer to the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners were rebuffed after they made a £40m bid for Zaha with Crystal Palace holding out for double of that amount.
Crystal Palace want £80m for Wilfried Zaha who signed a new contract at the club last summer.
In the last Premier League campaign, the Ivorian national team player scored ten goals and also added five assists.
Spurs Pull Out Of Race To Sign Arsenal Target
North London giants Tottenham Hotspur have pulled out of the race to sign Saint Etienne defender William Saliba according to the newest reports coming out of the media in the United Kingdom.
William Saliba has sparked the bidding war between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks but it seems like the Gunners have won the race to sign the young French defender.
According to Sky Sports, Spurs have pulled out of the race to sign the 18-year-old centre back.
Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal made the same €30m bid for the player but his preference for the Gunners tipped the transfer in favor of the 2006 Champions League finalists.
William Saliba wants to join Arsenal this summer though he’s expected to return to French club Saint Etienne on loan for just one season after his signing has been confirmed.
He enjoyed a breakthrough season for Saint Etienne in the last campaign which saw him make 16 league appearances for his French club as they finished in fourth position.
Saint Etienne narrowly missed out on Champions League football.
Only the top three teams qualified for the Champions League.
Lyon, Lille and French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) all finished ahead of Saint Etienne.
Arsenal Closing In On 22-year-old Player Signing
North London giants Arsenal are reportedly closing in on the loan signing of Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos.
According to Sky Sports, the loan signing of Dani Ceballos is almost a done deal for the Gunners.
It was revealed that the loan transfer will go through once Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane gives his go ahead.
Dani Ceballos is surplus to requirements at Real Madrid at the moment but the Spanish midfielder is keen to prove his worth at the club in the long-term.
The 22-year-old wants to go out on loan this summer rather than a permanent transfer as he still retains the hopes of securing a spot in the Real Madrid XI in the future.
Dani Ceballos became a Real Madrid player two years ago following his transfer from fellow Spanish La Liga club Real Betis.
He was recently part of the victorious Spanish team at the 2019 Euro u-21 Championship in Italy and San Marino.
Dani Ceballos was part of the Spain team that won the tournament via a 2-1 win over then champions Germany.
He would be the second signing of this summer for Arsenal after young Brazilian attacker Gabriel Martinelli.
The Brazilian player joined Arsenal from Ituano FC of Brazil.
