Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has made a huge salary demand in his new contract talks with the club amidst the transfer rumors linking him with a move to the Spanish La Liga duo of Barcelona and Real Madrid.
According to the publication from The Sun, England international Rashford has asked for £350,000 on a weekly basis.
It was revealed that the Manchester United Academy player won’t sign a new contract at Old Trafford until his financial demands are met by senior club officials.
The demand from Marcus Rashford has been influenced by the £500,000 weekly wages to Manchester United flop Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean international has had a torrid time as a Manchester United player since his transfer from Premier League rivals Arsenal in January 2018.
Alexis Sanchez joined the Red Devils in a swap deal which saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan move in the other direction.
Alexis Sanchez scored just two goals for Manchester United in all competitions during the just concluded campaign.
Marcus Rashford has been attracting interest from two Spanish clubs Real Madrid and Barcelona as mentioned above.
He has one year left on his contract with the Red Devils.
The same situation applies to David De Gea and Manchester United who also find it difficult to meet his £500,000 wage demands.
