There seems to be a major twist at the Old Trafford following reports that want-away star Juan Mata could be staying back with English Premier League side Man United for the coming season.
It was earlier reported that Juan Mata would be parting ways with the Red Devils and would be heading to French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain as his contract with the club was set to expire.
But in a quick twist, it is claimed that he is very close to agreeing on a new deal with Man United for a stay, according to David McDonnell.

The midfielder joined United from Chelsea for a fee of £37.5 million in 2014 and would be out of contract in two weeks, but there is a bid by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to have him stay back for another season because of how well he has impressed.
David McDonnell, therefore, writes that the discussions between Man United and the player are 90 percent complete as he expects talks to be concluded in a few days
Juan Mata currently earns £140,000-a-week with the Old Trafford giants but there are expectorations that it would be increased in order to have him convinced of a better life at Old Trafford
