Available information hints that Engish Premier League outfit Man United still stand a chance of securing the signature of Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff this summer window.
It is claimed that a £25 million asking price has been set and the Red Devils are confident over it as they continue to strengthen this summer window.
Man United have been able to sign Daniel James from Swansea this summer window and they will hope to build on it by a way of consolidation as demanded by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
What is more interesting is that Sean Longstaff just pledged his future to Newcastle about a month ago but that has not been an issue to the Red Devils in their bid to rebuild at Old Trafford.

However, Newcastle are being affected by the uncertainty at the club over a possible takeover as that could affect the structure and choice of manager, a development that will determine if Sean Longstaff stays or not.
Meanwhile, Man United have been encouraged by the fact that Sean Longstaff will cost just £25 million which would be affordable and be in line with the club’s transfer budget and plan.
Howbeit, the Red Devils are still expected to part ways with some of their players in this summer window which is obviously part of the overhaul that was talked about by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
