English Premier League outfit Liverpool might lose out on their star defender Dejan Lovren in this summer transfer window with Italian Serie A outrfit AC Milan reported to be on his case for a possible move in his summer transfer window, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
There is a bid by the San Siro outfit to land more defensive options in the team for next season’s challenge, especially after they failed to make the top-four in the league table.
This is why they are in need of the Reds defender as they stand a chance, knowing that his deal with Liverpool expires in 2021 and there are yet to be talks of contract renewals.

The Croatia international is obviously not a first eleven player should Joe Gomez be on ground and that means a limited playing time for him.
He was handed just 13 Premier League appearances last season and started just two Champions League games. In general, Dejan Lovren has started just 81 of 144 matches in the Premier League since Jurgen Klopp’s arrival.
This suggests that he might not be the pick for manager Jurgen Klopp and could seek for a move elsewhere to earn a playing time elsewhere.
It is therefore, unclear if he would be allowed to leave the club.
