Three-time European champions Manchester United are plotting a move back to England for Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale.
The Welsh international star is most likely to leave Real Madrid this summer after he was deemed surplus to requirements by club manager Zinedine Zidane towards the end of the season.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton player was dropped from the Real Madrid squad for two of the last three games before being benched throughout the last game of the season.

Real Madrid have spent a lot of money on new players this summer and are desperate to offload players like Bale.
According to the Daily Mirror, Real Madrid quoted a £75m asking price to Tottenham Hotspur for the player with the North London club keen on a move back for Bale.
It was also revealed that Manchester United want a loan deal for the player ahead of the new season with the hope of extending for another season.
It remains to be seen whether Real Madrid would be ready to release Bale for a loan deal.
The Spanish giants have already spent over £220m on players and they want to recoup part of that money by selling players not guaranteed a spot in Zinedine Zidane’s team for next season.
