East Londoners West Ham United are said to be plotting a move for Newcastle United midfielder Isaac Hayden during this summer’s transfer window.
According to the report from the Daily Star, the Hammers have made the former Arsenal player their top midfield targets having already missed out on other midfielders.
Issac Hayden joined Newcastle United from North London giants Arsenal in 2017 but the player is keen to move back to London as he tries to reunite with his young family.
The 24-year-old saw a winter transfer move to Brighton and Hove Albion collapse earlier this year.

Apart from Isaac Hayden, the Hammers are also eyeing a move for midfielder Joan Jordan who plays his club football for Spanish La Liga club Eibar.
Joan Jordan, 24, has one year left on his contract at Eibar with a release clause of €15m (£13.3m).
The Eibar midfielder is also attracting interest from fellow London club Arsenal as well as the Spanish La Liga trio of Valencia, Villarreal and Sevilla.
West Ham United have failed in previous bids for midfielders like Andre Gomes, Kostas Fortounis and Dani Ceballos.
The Hammers made two separate bids of £18m and £20m for Andre Gomes but it was rejected by Barcelona.
Andre Gomes spent last season on loan at Everton who also want to sign him permanently this summer.
