Italian Serie A outfit Inter Milan new manager Antonio Conte is keen to raid his former club Chelsea for star player Davide Zappacosta in this summer transfer window.

Antonio Conte was recently announced as the new manager of the San Siro outfit with the mandate to return the club back to its glory days while he has also been asked to challenge Juventus for the title win.

Davide Zappacosta is being admired by his former boss and the fact that he has not been favoured by manager Maurizio Sarri for selection makes it an advantage for the Italian boss to sign the player.

Antonio Conte had worked perfectly well with Davide Zappacosta and he hopes to have a repeat of the 2017 feats with Chelsea where they won the FA Cup title.

The decision would now be left for the West London outfit to make but it is suggested that they will not let go of the star player because of their big need of options for the coming season.

The West London outfit have been handed a transfer ban which makes it impossible to land players in this summer transfer window unless it is upturned by Court of Arbitration For Sport.
