Virgil van Dijk seeks new terms or…

English Premier League outfit Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has told the club that he wants a new contract.
This is after he helped the team win the UEFA Champions League as well as finishing second in the English Premier League.
Vigil van Dijk only joined Liverpool in the January transfer window of 2018 as the most expensive defender with £75 million but his commitment and contribution to the team has been worth it.

He has now told the club that he deserves new terms as a reward for his hard work in the just-concluded season.
It is not sure if Liverpool will want to do this in a rush knowing that Virgil van Dijk still has over three years left in his contract after signing a five-year deal in January 2018.
Suggestions are that Liverpool will meet with his agent and discuss terms but that is not expected to happen in this summer transfer window because of the time available.
Vigil Van Dijk, who is among the highest earners at Anfield was named the PFA Player of the Season.
He is tipped to be the next defender after Fabio Cannavaro in 2006 to win the Ballon d’Or award owing to his impressive performance.
