Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has confirmed that he will leave the club this summer amidst the intense transfer interest in his services.

The Danish international player has been touted as a possible transfer addition to both Manchester United and Spanish giants Real Madrid.

In an interview with Danish media outlet Ekstra Bladet, Christian Eriksen revealed that he’s ready to leave the club this summer for a new challenge.

On recent reports of negotiations between Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur, Christian Eriksen denied any knowledge of such.

According to him, Real Madrid is yet to make any offer for him.

Christian Eriksen has a year left on his current deal with North London giants Tottenham Hotspur but that has not stopped the Champions League finalists from placing a big money transfer fee on him.

Spurs have reportedly slapped an asking price of €100m on Eriksen.

The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder joined the club from Dutch champions Ajax Amsterdam in the summer of 2013 and the Danish midfielder is keen to end his six-year stay at the club.

Christian Eriksen could have played his last game for the club during the Champions League final played last weekend.

He was on the losing side as Liverpool secured the Champions League trophy via a 2-0 win over Spurs.
