David De Gea

Premier League giants Manchester United have slapped a big transfer fee on goalkeeper David De Gea who could leave the club this summer.

According to the publication from the stables of The Sun, Manchester United have placed an asking price of around £75m on him.

David De Gea has one year left on his current deal with the Red Devils and he’s attracting serious interest from French giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) who are in the market for a new first-choice goalkeeper.

Veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has left PSG following the expiration of his one-year contract.

The Italian shot-stopper moved to PSG last summer on a one-year deal with the option of another year but the French giants decided against taking up the additional year option.

PSG boss Thomas Tuchel complained about the uncertainty over the goalkeeping position at the club towards the end of the just concluded season.

Gianluigi Buffon and Alphonso Areola were the first team goalkeepers at PSG during the just concluded season.

PSG want to sign David De Gea and they have been told that the Spanish international shot-stopper would only be sold if they receive at least £75m for his transfer.

De Gea has been at Manchester United since 2011 when he joined them from Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.
