Premier League champions Manchester City have reportedly joined the race to sign Lyon playmaker Nabil Fekir during this summer’s transfer window.
This is according to the publication from the stables of popular English news platform Daily Express which claimed that the Citizens are in the race to sign Nabil Fekir with Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester United.
North London giants Arsenal were first linked with the French World Cup winner before the interest of the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United.
Nabil Fekir could have been on the books of newly crowned European champions Liverpool but the transfer didn’t materialise despite the fact that the Reds had agreed to a deal with Lyon for him.

Lyon agreed to a £53m deal with Liverpool for him and was closing in on a move to Anfield officially until the Merseysiders pulled out of the transfer due to concerns over his knee.
Nabil Fekir was able to recover from the transfer setback as he played a role in the French World Cup winning team from last summer.
The Lyon player was part of the 23-man French squad that won last summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia via a 4-2 win over Croatia in their final clash.
