Italian Serie A giants Napoli have reportedly joined the Premier League duo of Arsenal and Manchester United in the race to sign AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas.
This is according to the report from the stables of media outlet II Tempo which claimed that Napoli will battle with both Arsenal and Manchester United for the right to sign Greek international Kostas Manolas.
Arsenal and Manchester United are both in the market for a new defender after the poor defensive showings of the just concluded Premier League campaign.
The Gunners conceded 52 goals in just 38 league games, while Manchester United fared worse than their Premier League rivals with 54 goals conceded in the same amount of games.

Kostas Manolas has a release clause of €36m in his AS Roma contract which expires at the end of the 2021/22 season.
The Greek international centre back was linked with a move to Arsenal before he signed for Greek club Olympiacos in the summer of 2014.
