Marcos Rojo

Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has revealed that he has a future at the Theatre of Dreams beyond this summer.

The Argentine national team player spoke about his future at Manchester United in a chat with El Dia as he disclosed that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given him assurances about his Manchester United career.

Manchester United are expected to carry out major surgery on their squad especially on the defensive front and the aforementioned Rojo has been rumoured as one of the players that would leave the club this summer.

Recent reports had said that Manchester United players like Matteo Darmian, Romelu Lukaku and Marcos Rojo have no future at the club and that Solskjaer wants to move forward without them.

Rojo, 29, was limited to just six appearances during the recently concluded season due to various injury problems.

Manchester United have been linked with several defenders including the in-demand Matthijs De Ligt.

Dutch international centre back De Ligt is one of the most sought-after players in Europe.

He became the youngest captain in the history of Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam last year at the tender age of 18.

De Ligt led Ajax to an impressive domestic double during the just concluded campaign.
