Premier League giants Manchester United are said to be plotting a summer move for young Stoke City defender Nathan Collins according to the Daily Mail.
Nathan Collins has caught the eye with his performances for Stoke City this season and the Red Devils are ready to make a summer swoop for the 18-year-old.
It was revealed that the young defender was recommended to Manchester United by former midfielder Darren Fletcher.
Scottish international Darren Fletcher was formerly a Manchester United player before he joined West Brom and then Stoke City.
Manchester United fans won’t be too excited about Nathan Collins but his potential signing is not for the here and now.
The Red Devils will definitely sign new players this summer as they try to recover from a disappointing season which saw them finish in sixth position.
Manchester United were unable to qualify for the Champions League for next season as a result of that sixth-placed finish.
Champions Manchester City, Runners-up Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur ended the Premier League season in the top four places and they will represent England in Europe’s premier club competition.
North London giants Arsenal can become the fifth club to qualify for the Champions League by winning the Europa League.
The Gunners will face London rivals Chelsea in the Europa League final in Baku on May 29.
