Europa League finalists Arsenal are most likely to miss out on Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha during this summer’s transfer window which opened some days ago.
This is according to widespread reports emanating from the media in the United Kingdom.
Wilfried Zaha has already told Crystal Palace about his desire to leave the club this summer in favour of a move to a Champions League playing team.
The Ivorian international attacker is ready to have a crack at a top club once again following his disappointing spell at Manchester United four years ago.
Zaha joined Manchester United in the summer of 2013, six months after his transfer was announced.
He was the last transfer conducted by Sir Alex Ferguson before his retirement in 2013 but the player didn’t have the best of times under David Moyes and Louis Van Gaal.
Zaha was loaned to Cardiff City and then former club Crystal Palace who he joined permanently in 2015.
He has been a key player for his boyhood club since his return to the club but it’s time to leave according to Zaha.
Arsenal are one of the clubs interested in the player and he has been slapped with an £80m transfer fee by Crystal Palace.
According to The Sun, Arsenal might miss out on the transfer with the Gunners willing to pay half of the price tag.
