Manchester United now have a new competitor in the race for Tottenham want-away midfielder Christian Eriksen as Ligue 1 Champions PSG show interest in the Denmark international.

It was claimed that Solskjaer has been a fan of the Tottenham midfield for a while and he tried signing him in the summer but failed to complete the player’s signature.

Having failed to snatch the player from the North London club, Solskjaer swiftly turned his attention to Swansea youngster Daniel James whom he signed for just £17m before the start of the campaign.

Despite James’ eye-catching performances for the Red Devils, Solskjaer is very much active in the race for the Danish superstar but he will need to beat top European clubs in the competition for the player’s services.

Real Madrid are equally linked with the star as Zidane continues to find solutions to his under-performing side.

Though the Frenchman’s major target is his countryman Paul Pogba, luring the midfielder to Santiago Bernabeau is one transfer plan the manager will hope to seal in the winter.

Meanwhile, the latest report via Daily Mail revealed that Eriksen has attracted Thomas Tuchel’s attention and the PSG manager is looking at the possibility of signing him despite the crop of star players under his watch.

Man United Told To Sign EPL Record Breaker To Win Title

Manchester United have been advised to sign former Liverpool star player Luis Suarez or Edinson Cavani in January if they must win the Premier League this season.

According to Philadelphia Union Youth manager Kleberson, Solskjaer’s team lack proven goalscorers having sold Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez (loan) to Inter Milan without replacing them before the end of the season.

“Lukaku and Sanchez both wanted to leave Man United. They needed to play rather than being on the bench. It has made the Man United squad weaker.

“Even though they were not playing that well, they are still top players who bring a lot to the team,” he told reporters.

He, however, charged the team to sign 32-year-old Uruguayan striker who could be leaving Barcelona any time soon.

Suarez was one of the most prolific Premier strikers during his days at Anfield and Kleberson believes his goals will help the Red Devils win some laurels this season.

He also advised Solskjaer to complete his proposed move for Edinson Cavani due to the player’s record with Paris St-German.

He believes the two players will definitely add more threat to United’s depleted front-line.

“For example, if United sold Lukaku and signed Cavani or sold Sanchez and brought in Suarez, then it would’ve been very different, but they did not do that.” he said.

As much as the two Uruguayans are great strikers, they are far from being in their best and they don’t seem to suit United’s youthful setup considering their age( both at 32).

Manchester United’s chances of signing Leicester City midfielder James Maddison in the next summer window could suffer a huge blow as two Premier League giants join in the race for his signature.

According to a report from Inside Futbol, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has developed an interest in the attacking midfielder and he is ready to do everything possible to win the race.

Tottenham are the second Premier League side showing interest in the homegrown talent. The Lily Whites — just like Manchester United — haven’t been in the best form in recent weeks, hence, Pochettino seeks to upgrade his team next year.

Maddison is arguably the best attacking midfielder in Brendan Rodgers squad so far this season but the manager could be unable to block the player from completing his inevitable move to one of the top-six clubs before the start of next season.

United were the first club who showed the desire to have the English man and they’re expected to explore the business relationship between them and the King Power outfits to their advantage.

Meanwhile, Sean Longstaff still remains a top target for the Red Devils who are keen on adding more quality to their midfield setup before the start of the 2020-21 season.
