Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar has ended transfer rumours linking him with a move to Premier League giants Manchester United this summer after he penned a new contract with his Italian Serie A club.
Slovakian international center-back Skriniar has signed a contract extension at Inter Milan this taking him to the summer of 2023 at the club.
The news of his four-year contract was made public earlier on Thursday.
He was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United as well as Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The 24-year-old has been a defensive stalwart for Inter Milan since his transfer from fellow Italian Serie A outfit Sampdoria at the start of last season.
Inter Milan were said to have paid £20m for his transfer from Sampdoria in 2017.
Milan Skriniar has played 44 games for Inter Milan in all competitions this term and has helped just team to third spot on the league table ahead of the final two games of the season.
Inter Milan are in third spot at the moment in their bid to qualify for Champions League football next season and one win from the last two league games will be enough to achieve that target for the former European champions.
