English Premier League outfit Chelsea are set to part ways on a permanent basis with Belgian international striker Michy Batshuayi ahead of the coming summer transfer window.
Michy Batshuayi had spent the first half of the season with the Spanish La Luga outfit Valencia before coming back to the English premier League to spend the second with Crystal Palace on loan in the January winter transfer window.
Life was better for Michy Batshuayi at Palace as he scored 5 goals in the English Premier League and another a single goal in the FA Cup as he helped Crystal Palace to avoid relegation by finishing 12th in the league table.
However, Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has made it clear that the club intends to bring back the Belgian striker back to the club in the summer window as he hopes an agreement is reached between the two teams.
He noted that the bulk of the decision would be left for Michy Batshuayi to make, noting that he would be more convinced if he is happy at the club than being compelled to stay back.
Meanwhile, the decision for Michy Batshuayi to remain at the Stamford Bridge would be made by manager Maurizio Sarri at the end of the day.
