There are suggestions that Merseyside outfit Liverpool will move in for West London outfit Chelsea star Reece James ahead of the coming summer transfer window if the words of Reds legend Mark Lawrenson should be listened to.

Reece James has been an interesting player for Wigan where he is currently having his loan spell as he is yet to make an official debut for the West London outfit Chelsea since he joined the club.

This season remains one of the best for Reece James as he is part of the Championship team of the week and also won three awards at Latics’ end of the season awards ceremony which includes the Player of the Year award.

He is therefore linked with a move to return to the English Premier League even if Wigan fail to secure qualification to the top flight.

However, his destination is yet to be known as he has been rumoured to return back to the West London outfit as part of the players that would be asked by manager Maurizio Sarri to return back to the club for the coming season.

The West London outfit have been handed a transfer ban which will stop them from registering new players for the next two transfer windows.
