Deal Close: Inter Closing In On €50m Deal For Man Utd Target

Premier League giants Manchester United are on the verge of losing one of their transfer targets to Italian Serie club Inter Milan this summer.
According to the publication from Goal, Inter Milan are closing in on a €50m transfer for Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic ahead of the transfer window in the summer.
Ivan Rakitic is a long-term transfer target for Premier League sides like Chelsea and Manchester United.
The Croatian World Cup star has been targeted by Inter Milan as they bid to close the big gap on Italian champions Juventus next season.
Inter Milan are plotting a mini-rebuilding job at the club with manager Luciano Spalletti also expected to leave in the summer.
Former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has already been sounded out for the position and he’s expected to replace the aforementioned Spalletti.
It was revealed that Conte has already agreed on a three-year deal worth €10m on a yearly basis to become the next Inter Milan manager.
Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku is one of several players to have been linked with a move to Inter Milan as well as Rakitic whom Barcelona are willing to sell this summer.
Barcelona were said to have turned down a €100m fee from French giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) last season but the Catalans are ready to do a deal for him for €50m.
