Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that midfielder Ander Herrera will leave the club at the end of this season.
Solskjaer confirmed his imminent exit during his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of the last game of the season, a Premier League clash with Welsh side Cardiff City at home.
According to him, Ander Herrera will confirm his next destination in his own time.
The Spanish international has few months left on his current deal with Manchester United and he has already rejected a new deal if reports emanating from the British media are to be believed.
It was revealed that Ander Herrera has already agreed a pre-contract agreement with French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) ahead of a free transfer.
Ander Herrera has reportedly agreed a four-year deal with PSG and he could be the direct replacement for wantaway midfielder Adrien Rabiot at Parc des Princes.
Adrien Rabiot will leave PSG this summer immediately after the expiration of his contract at the French club.
On his (Ander Herrera) participation against Cardiff City, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer didn’t confirm his availability for the game as he said that the team for the game has not been decided.
The Cardiff City game is almost academic for Manchester United who are not in the running to achieve much except fifth place on the Premier League table.
