It is reported that English Premier League outfit Liverpool are in the search for Leicester City star James Maddison ahead of the coming season.

The manager Jurgen Klopp side are hoping to have a successful season with the Champions League after reaching the finals but that will not stop them from adding a few players to their team to be able to challenge better in the coming season.

The Foxes midfielder has been in great form so far this season with pundits claiming that he is one of the best the English Premier League has got to offer this season and that is why the Reds team have been advised to move in for him as soon as the summer transfer window is opened.

Liverpool legend Steve Nicole has therefore backed his former side to move in for the star player, stressing that he would help to add more quality to the team in the coming season.

According to him, there is a need to add more depth to the team in the middle despite having attention on the attack and the defence, noting that the team needs to do more in terms of gaining possession and that can be made possible with James Maddison.
